JCZS80-DC Polarity DC Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB)

• Function

JCZS80-DC miniature DC circuit breaker is designed for solar / photovoltaic PV system, energy storage and other direct current DC applications.They are mainly placed between batteries and hybrid inverters.

JCZS80-DC DC circuit breaker provides scientific arc extinguishing and flash barrier technology to fulfill quick and safe current interruption.

JCZS80-DC DC circuit breaker is a protective device equipped with both a thermal and an electromagnetic release that is available in 1 pole ,2pole, 3 pole and 4 pole versions. The switching capacity is 10kA according to IEC/EN 60947-2. The DC rated voltage is 300V per pole, rated voltage up to 1200V DC.

JCZS80-DC circuit breaker is available with rated currents of 2A to 80A.

JCZS80-DC DC circuit breaker offer new features, better connection, superior performance and increased levels of security. Its breaking capacity is up to 10kA.

JCZS80-DC DC circuit breaker can be locked (by a padlocking device) in OFF position as a safety measure for removal of the PV inverter
Since a fault current can flow in the reverse direction to the operating current, the JCZS80-DC Circuit breaker can detect and protect against any bidirectional current. To ensure the safety of the installation, it is necessary, depending on the various types of application, to combine the circuit breaker with:

• a residual current device at the AC end,
• a fault passage detector (insulation monitoring device) at the DC end
• an earth protection circuit breaker at the DC end
